Global Peace Youth (GPY) Kenya is the Kenyan Chapter of the Global Peace Youth International which is the youth arm of the Global Peace Foundation a non-profit cross sector global alliance of young leaders and youth-related organizations whose main objective is to promote world peace, reduce global poverty and disease through building a global culture of service.
GPY promotes and celebrates young persons and programs that contribute to reconciliation, mutual respect, harmony and cooperation among the members of the whole human family, as ‘One Family under God’. In partnership with a variety of stakeholders in youth leadership development, GPY advocates core thematic ideals {Aspirations, Principles & Values} that enhance practical agenda for youth development.
Mission:
To educate and nurture young people to become future leaders with both moral and innovative capacity for the purpose of transforming the world to be One Family under God.
Goal:
- Developing Moral and innovative Leaders (core leaders)
- Developing broad base youth movement (National Leaders)
- Establish self-sufficient National Chapters with capacity for partnership.
Specific Objective:
Develop young leaders who are social and economic entrepreneurs with both moral and innovative capacity
